ETD Inc. assisted White Cone Chapter in the procurement of a certified planning firm to prepare the White Cone Commercial development Master Plan. Master Planning is an evolving long-term planning document. It establishes the framework and key elements of a site reflecting a clear vision created and adopted in an open process. It synthesizes goals and the public aspirations for a project, giving them form and organization; and, it defines a realistic plan for implementation (www.nyc.gov). Master Plans created for commercial development can attract businesses, financiers, and/or developers. The selected firm was a certified vendor with the Navajo Nation and was given priority under the Navajo Business Opportunity Act.
