ETD was the designated Construction Project Manager for the Kinlani Bordertown Dormitory project. The Kinlani Bordertown Dormitory was funded by the BIA Division of Facility Management and Construction. ETD’s project management approach was construction manager at risk (CMAR). The facility is 53,000 square-feet located in a federal land enclave within the City of Flagstaff. The total cost was $9,000,000, which included pre-demolition testing and hazardous building materials abatement, and demolition and removal of the original buildings. The project program included a 56,000 square-feet facility to house 300 students. The project was completed in 36 months without any major delays or budget increases.
